About K-W Urban Native Wigwam Project |
|
KWUNWP is a nonprofit organization that has served the Native population of Waterloo Region since 1987. It provides safe, secure and affordable rent geared-to-income housing for Native people and their familes that are in a low or moderate income situation. KWUNWP will provide tenant support where possible to assist in decreasing hardships and leading to self-sufficency of the individuals and families. This will give native people of this community a chance to grow and prosper, while maintaining a dignified and safe living environment for their families. |
